We take the protection of your data seriously. This policy informs you which data we process, for what purpose and on what legal basis – in line with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Which data we process

  • Contact form: first and last name, email address, phone (optional), message and IP address for spam protection.
  • Cookies & local storage: only technically necessary values (e.g. cookie consent, language). Analytics or marketing cookies are set only after you opt in.
  • Server logs (via our host): anonymised access data for security and performance.

Processors

  • Resend (resend.com) – sending the contact emails. Data is processed in the US, secured by EU standard contractual clauses.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile (cloudflare.com) – bot protection on the contact form. No personal cookies are set.
  • Upstash (upstash.com) – temporarily stores IP-based counters for rate limiting. Data expires after 1 hour.

Analytics & tracking

We deploy no analytics or tracking tools without your explicit consent. As long as you don't enable anything in the cookie banner, no tracking runs.

Retention

Contact requests are stored until your enquiry is resolved, but no longer than 24 months. After that they are deleted unless a legal retention obligation applies.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, delete or restrict the processing of your data, as well as the right to object and data portability. A single request is enough – email us at info@anwebio.com.
